My fee is $150 per session. Sessions last 50 minutes. I write a case note in the last ten minutes of the hour.
A sliding-scale fee is available on a case-by-case basis. Talk to me about it.
I have a number of income-based slots, but they are currently full. I will list any open slot as they become available.
I can provide a Superbill for reimbursement, but I do not currently take insurance.
I am in application for two insurance panels in California. However, insurance companies limit the number of therapists they panel by zip-code. I have applied previously and not been accepted based on the density of therapists at my office location.
I am not currently accepting BCBS PPO of Texas as I had previously. They put my provider coverage on hold due to an administrative issue many months ago, and I have not managed to get myself re-paneled despite a lot of phone calls.
General Information about insurance
Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services.
I’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
- Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
- Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
- Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
- Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?
I accept cash, check and all major credit cards as forms of payment.
If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.
